Population
El Campello is home to 25,055 residents, making it the 18th largest municipality in its province. During the summer months, this number swells dramatically, with over 70,000 additional visitors joining the community. A significant portion of the population resides in urban developments spread across the coastal area. Since the 1970s, the town has experienced remarkable growth, particularly between 1990 and 2005, when the population more than doubled. This growth is largely driven by tourism and its transformation into a desirable residential hub.

El Campello boasts 23 km of stunning coastline, highlighted by notable beaches such as Playa de Muchavista—a continuation of Playa de San Juan—and the centrally located beach in the urban area.
